"High pH = Health Food" Recipe Cilantro Hummus Dip
Foods with a higher pH are considered alkaline healing foods. Lower pH acidic ones leave the body in a toxic state. When our bodies are acidic, we feel more pain, become more lethargic, we inflame and swell, and our immune systems become less effective. By eliminating lower pH foods such as: dairy, sugar, alcohol, soy, wheat and high amounts of meat, you'll be amazed by how refreshed you'll feel in an incredibly quick amount of time! Focus on pH neutral foods with a dash of alkalinity added in. And if you do eat an acidic meal, balance it out with a neutral to alkaline emphasis for the next few days. I'll provide more information on the topic of pH foods in my next blog. But, for now, let's begin with a snack!
